How to use a kettle to ferment soybeans

Preparation of soy beans with a kettle

Usually, some opaque kettles in your home can be used to ferment bean sprouts. In addition to the kettle, prepare an appropriate amount of soybeans or mung beans, and an appropriate amount of water.

Specific steps for using a kettle to ferment soybeans

1. Pick out the inferior seeds from the dry soybeans or mung beans, and then soak them in clean water for ten hours, changing the water once during the soaking process.

2. Take out the soaked soybeans and put them into the prepared kettle. Remember that there should not be any grease inside the kettle. The amount of soybeans put into the kettle should be about half of the volume of the kettle.

3. Pour an appropriate amount of clean water into the kettle to rinse the beans. After adding the water, cover the kettle lid and pour the water out from the spout. It should be noted here that you only need to keep the surface of the beans moist and do not let the beans soak in water for a long time.

4. After one day, the beans in the pot will sprout. At this time, the number of flushing water can be increased to four times. After five days, you will find that the bean sprouts have filled the kettle. You can take them out when you want to eat them. The bean sprouts that grow in the kettle will grow particularly strong due to the small space.
