The raw materials for homemade native ginger and red date enzyme are very simple. You only need to prepare red dates, ginger, brown sugar and an appropriate amount of pure water. In addition, you should prepare a larger glass bottle as the container.

How to make your own ginger and red date enzyme

1. Wash the prepared glass bottles to make sure they are free of water and oil and set aside for later use.

2. When preparing the materials, you can prepare ginger and pure water in a ratio of three to ten. In addition, you should prepare one portion of brown sugar and red dates according to this ratio, that is, add one kilogram of brown sugar and one kilogram of red dates to three kilograms of ginger.

3. Use dried red dates and remove the pits. Wash the ginger, remove moisture, and cut into slices for later use.

4. Put the prepared red dates and ginger slices into a glass bottle, add brown sugar and an appropriate amount of water. Note here that the bottle cannot be filled too full, and 30% must be reserved, otherwise the gas generated during fermentation will cause the bottle to burst.

5. After shaking well, seal it with plastic wrap and let out the air once a day. After forty to fifty days, it will be fermented successfully and the homemade ginger and red date enzyme can be taken out and eaten.
