Ingredients for making dog treasure pickles

The raw materials for making goubao pickles are very important. In addition to goubao, also known as platycodon, you also need to prepare ingredients such as edible salt, MSG, chili powder, and white sesame seeds.

Authentic way to make dog treasure pickles

1. Soak the purchased Platycodon grandiflorum in clean water for about twelve hours. If the soaking time is too short, the Platycodon grandiflorum will be too hard, and if the soaking time is too long, it will affect its taste.

2. Take out the soaked Platycodon grandiflorum, tear it into thin strips, and soak it in clean water for 12 hours. This will remove the odor of Platycodon grandiflorum. After soaking, take it out and drain the water.

3. Fry the prepared white sesame seeds in a pan and set aside. Mix salt, MSG and chili powder together, then add them to the processed Platycodon and mix well to marinate. After three or four hours, the Platycodon will be flavored. Add the sesame seeds and mix well before eating.
