How to make soybeans

Materials for making soybeans

The most important ingredient in making bean curd is mung beans. The recommended household usage is about 150 grams, and the other ingredient is clean water.

Specific steps for making soybeans

1. You can prepare a small oil-free pot at home, add water to boil and then cool for about five minutes, then put the prepared mung beans into the water and stir in a clockwise direction with chopsticks.

2. Stop stirring until you no longer feel the heat when you put your fingers in. Move the small pot to a cool place and soak it for about five hours. The temperature should be between 22 and 25 degrees.

3. After the mung beans are soaked, take them out and rinse them with cold water. Then put the washed beans in a large basin and cover them with a clean wet towel. Then put another large basin on top to prevent water loss.

4. After a day, the mung beans will grow sprouts about one centimeter long. At this time, rinse the beans with cold water, and then put them on a grate, press down the beans with heavy objects, and rinse two to three times a day. After five to six days of continuous management, the bean sprouts will grow to eight or nine centimeters long. After removing the bean skins, you can directly stir-fry and eat them.
