1 papaya, 300g small ribs, 2 teaspoons (10g) of southern almonds, 1 teaspoon (5g) of salt

How to make papaya, pork ribs and almond stew

Peel the papaya, cut it in half, remove the seeds with a metal spoon, and cut it into 3cm square pieces. Cut the spareribs into the same size pieces and set aside.

Boil a pot of hot water over high heat, put the spareribs into the hot water for 2 minutes, and then scoop out the spareribs after the blood foam has completely seeped out, then place them in a round bowl.

Place papaya cubes and southern almonds into the pork rib pot, add warm water until 80% full. Place the pot into a steamer and steam over high heat for 1 hour.

After 1 hour, remove the lid, add salt, cover the pot and steam for another 10 minutes.
