It's winter, so what should we pay attention to when growing lentils? Today I will tell you in detail: 1. Lentil variety selectionChoose varieties with uniform pods, less fiber, heavier pods, and stronger disease resistance. For example, "Pig Ear" is more suitable for winter cultivation. 2. Fertilization and Land PreparationThe winter warm greenhouse cultivation of lentils has a long growth period and requires a large amount of fertilizer, so heavy basal fertilizer should be applied. 100 kg of phosphorus fertilizer, 50 kg of potassium fertilizer, and 2,500 kg of high-quality compost fertilizer can be applied. Combined with fertilization, deep plowing 30 cm, and raking and leveling the plot. 3. Ridge planting and film coveringSingle-row planting was carried out on high ridges, with a ridge width of 40 cm, a furrow width of 40 cm, and a ridge height of 15 cm. A 150 cm wide mulch film was used to cover the mulch (i.e., 1 film covered 2 ridges and 1 furrow), and a row of lentils was planted on the ridges after covering the mulch. 4. Sowing and PlantingTo ensure the supply in spring, it is advisable to sow and cultivate 5 days before and after the autumnal equinox. Water the ridges and cut them before sowing so that they can be planted with soil. When the seedlings have 3 to 4 true leaves, transplant them according to the specifications of 1 row per ridge, 3 mounds per 1 meter, and 2 plants per mound. Do not plant too densely, otherwise the seedlings will grow too tall, the flowers and pods will fall off seriously, or no pods will form. 5. Applying regulatorAfter planting and seedlings have been slowly grown, spray 1500-2000 mg/kg of chlormequat solution on the leaves; or pour 500-750 mg/kg of chlormequat solution into the soil, 100-200 ml per plant, to prevent the leaves and vines from growing too long and shorten the vine length. In winter, the light in the greenhouse is weak and the temperature is low, which makes it easy for flowers and pods to fall off. You can apply 5-10 mg/kg of naphthaleneacetic acid to the flowers during the flowering period. 6. Strengthen managementAfter sowing and before germination, the temperature should be maintained at 25-30℃ to promote the emergence of seedlings. After germination, the temperature of the seedbed should be 20℃-25℃ to prevent the emergence of tall seedlings. After the true leaves unfold, the temperature should be maintained at 20℃. 56 days before transplanting, use 18℃-20℃ low temperature to harden the seedlings. In the late stage of transplanting and acclimatization, the greenhouse temperature should be controlled at 20℃-25℃ during the day and 12℃-15℃ at night, and should not be lower than 10℃. In the severe winter, if there are continuous cloudy days or severe cold weather, the temperature should be increased. Apply sufficient base fertilizer before transplanting, and water once. Generally, no watering is required after transplanting, and only a small amount of watering is required during drought. During the flowering and pod-setting period, watering should be done secretly along the vines in the morning on sunny days. Generally, watering should be done once every 7 to 10 days, and topdressing should be done once every watering, with 5 to 10 kg of compound fertilizer per mu. After the seedlings are thrown out, hang the rope, fix one end of the transparent plastic rope on the iron wire on the roof, tie the other end with a wooden stick, and insert it outside each bean seedling, 8 to 10 cm away from the seedling. Do not let the main vine climb to the top of the shed at one time, and pick the vine when it is about to reach the top. 7. Prevention and control of pests and diseasesIn the early stage of rust, spray 12.5% tepuzole wettable powder at 2500-3000 times, spray once every 5-7 days, and prevent twice. For mosaic disease, after planting and seedlings have been slowed down, spray 500 times of Huanzhong Junduqing, 500 times of Shuangxiaofei, 400 times of Virus A and 0.2% zinc sulfate mixture, spray once every 10-15 days, spray 2-3 times in a row, which can basically control mosaic disease. For aphids, use 80% dichlorvos emulsifiable concentrate to smoke with dark fire, and use 250-300 grams of dichlorvos per mu. 8. Harvesting7 to 15 days after the lentil blooms, the young pods have grown and can be picked before they become hard. After entering the harvest period, harvest every 4 to 5 days. Be careful not to damage the inflorescence when picking pods, so as not to affect the yield. This method of winter planting can produce up to 1,500 kilograms per mu. |
