Today I would like to introduce to you an uncommon vegetable, fruit corn:

Basic Introduction to Corn

Fruit corn is a kind of super sweet corn suitable for eating raw. Compared with ordinary corn, its main characteristics are thin skin, high juice, crispy and sweet texture in the green cob stage. It can be eaten raw directly. The thin skin breaks when bitten, and the fragrant juice overflows the teeth and cheeks. It is particularly sweet and crispy whether eaten raw or cooked, just like fruit, so it is called "fruit corn".

Fruit corn is very popular abroad. In the 44th US presidential election, Bush and Kerry launched a "corn war" in order to win the favor of voters. Bush bought a few sweet corns and ate a bite on the spot, praising them: "You can eat them without cooking, so delicious!"
