There are many varieties of fruit corn, so today I will introduce them to you:

Golden, crispy and sweet

This variety is a fresh-eating early-maturing, high-quality, super-sweet fruit corn seed introduced from the United States, and is a non-genetically modified variety. In North my country, it takes 75-80 days from spring sowing to harvesting fresh ears; the plant type is semi-compact, the plant height is 200 cm, the ear position is about 80 cm, the bracts are abundant, the fruit ears are cylindrical, the ear length is 20-22 cm, the ear thickness is about 5.2 cm, the number of ear rows is 16-18, the kernel depth is about 1.3 cm, the seed rate is 72%, and the fresh bract weight is about 450-520 grams. In the main sweet corn producing areas in my country, the yield per mu is 900-1000 kg; the kernels are light yellow, the skin is thin, crispy and sweet, the taste is good when eaten raw, and there is no residue after eating. It is suitable for cooking fresh ears or quick freezing and fresh-keeping processing; it is suitable for spring planting in major corn planting areas across the country.

Golden Crisp King

Jincuiwang is a yellow and white double-color super sweet fruit corn hybrid imported from the United States. It is a new variety of dwarf fruit corn and a temperate type variety. It likes coolness and hates humidity and heat. In Beijing, the plant height is about 175 cm, the ear position is about 40 cm, the ear length is more than 20-23 cm, the ear thickness is about 5 cm, the number of ear rows is an average of 16 rows, the grain depth is about 12 mm, the ear is nearly cylindrical, and it takes about 81 days from sowing to harvesting. The bracts are bright green and beautiful, the arrow leaves are vigorous, easy to process, the male and female flowers are well coordinated, and there are many tillers, which do not need to be removed. The average single ear weight is more than 400g, and the average fresh ear yield per mu is 1300kg. With wide and narrow row cultivation and scientific management, the yield per mu can reach 1500kg.

1. Fruit-shaped sweet corn with precious quality, suitable for eating raw or cooked, with yellow and white mixed grains.

2. It has a thin skin and no residue, the kernels are crisp, tender and sweet, and the classic arrow leaves and cobs are beautiful. It can be regarded as an outstanding representative of two-color super sweet corn.

3. It matures 5 days earlier than American Cupra, but its quality is comparable to that of American Cupra, and the grains are bright in color.

4. It can be sold fresh or vacuum packed. It has been used by most manufacturers and is popular in Japan, South Korea, Europe and the United States, and is very popular among users.

Weikomi

This variety is a super sweet corn hybrid introduced from the United States. The plant height is about 240 cm. The plant grows strong, especially heat and moisture resistant, and is also resistant to diseases and insect pests. It is a medium-maturing variety. It takes about 75 days from sowing to harvesting fresh ears. It is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, C, minerals and free amino acids, and the total sugar content is greater than 33.6%. This variety has high yield, neat and full ears, and the weight of fresh ears is about 240g (excluding bracts). Each plant can be grafted with 1 to 2 ears, and generally one ear is retained. The grain is full, the color is good, the commercial quality is excellent, the grain is complete and full, the sugar content is more than 20 times higher than that of ordinary corn, the ears are yellow, sweet and juicy when eaten raw, the skin is thin and there is no residue, it is crisp, tender, sweet, and of excellent quality. The sugar retention is long, and it is more resistant to storage and transportation. It is the preferred variety in fresh corn and quick-frozen corn cultivation areas. This variety is suitable for foreign trade processing and export, corn cans, corn beverages, and fresh quick freezing in the main fresh corn producing areas.

This variety can be sown and produced all year round in most areas of my country. It is heat-resistant and has high yield. The cultivation and management can refer to the general sweet corn. During the growth period, especially before heading, attention should be paid to the prevention and control of diseases and insect pests. It should be harvested when the ears are fully developed but the kernels are still in the juice stage, and processed as soon as possible to avoid the reduction of sugar content. It should not be cultivated near feed corn fields and general corn fields to avoid pollen contamination and affect the quality of fresh food.

Golden Sweet No.2

This variety is a super sweet fresh corn hybrid with medium maturity. It takes about 90 days from spring sowing to fresh ear harvesting in North my country. The plant is semi-compact, about 2 meters tall, and the ear height is about 90 cm. The ear is long and cylindrical, with small sword leaves on the bracts, beautiful ear shape, and high ear formation rate. The ear length is about 22 cm, the ear thickness is about 5 cm, the number of ear rows is 14-16, and the fresh bract weight is 460-500 grams. In the main sweet corn producing areas in my country, it has the potential to produce 1000-1200 kg per mu. The grains are golden, bright in color, firm and compact, full in grains, and arranged neatly in rows. Resistant to large and small spot diseases and virus diseases. Suitable for fresh ear cooking or quick freezing and preservation processing.
