Scallop and Frog Congee

If you use porridge base to cook this porridge, the time can be shortened a lot, but the dried scallops must be steamed in an electric cooker first.

Ingredients for Scallop Frog Porridge

1 liang of dried scallops, 8 liang of frog meat, a little cornstarch, 6 cups of water, 3 cups of rice, a little shredded ginger, a little salt, a little chicken powder, a little pepper

Scallop and frog porridge recipe

1. Soak dried scallops in cold water for 30 minutes until soft, then crush and set aside.

2. Cut the frog meat into pieces, mix with cornstarch, blanch in boiling water, remove from the water, slice and set aside.

3. Take a deep pot, add 6 cups of water and 3 cups of rice and the scallops from step 1, cook over low heat while stirring until boiled, and continue to cook for 30 minutes. Add shredded ginger first, then add the frog pieces from step 2 and continue to cook for 3 minutes. Finally, add seasoning and mix well.

2 frogs, 10 cloves of garlic, 1000cc of water, 10g of dried scallops, 3g of wolfberry, 1 tablespoon of rice wine, a pinch of salt

1. Wash and peel the frogs, cut into pieces and set aside; fry the garlic in 170℃ oil until golden brown and set aside.

2. Take a stew pot, add water, frogs, garlic, scallops, wolfberries, rice wine and other ingredients.
