Sesame seeds contain many health-benefitting compounds such as phenolic antioxidants. Together, these compounds help avoid harmful free radicals from the body. Sesame seeds are rich in vitamins and minerals in quality. It is a good source of vitamin B complex such as niacin, folic acid, thiamin (vitamin B1), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and riboflavin. Folic acid is essential for DNA synthesis. When given to pregnant women during the fairy conception period, it can prevent neural tube defects in the baby. Niacin is another B-complex vitamin found in sesame crops. Niacin helps reduce LDL-cholesterol levels in the blood. In addition, it enhances GABA activity inside the brain, which in turn helps reduce anxiety and neurosis.

Put millet and glutinous rice into a pot, add appropriate amount of water, boil over high heat, then simmer until it becomes thick porridge, add cooked sesame powder, mix well, and add fine salt to taste.
