What I am going to introduce to you below is the efficacy of Shanglu porridge. I hope you will like what I am saying. Phytolacca porridgeThe efficacy of Phytolacca porridge1. Effects on the respiratory system a. Expectorant effect: The decoction, tincture and water extract of this product had obvious expectorant effect when administered to mice by oral gavage, and the intensity of the effect was: decoction>tincture>water extract. The water decoction had obvious expectorant effect when administered to rabbits by oral gavage or intraperitoneal injection, and the expectorant effect was not affected by severing the vagus nerve. Chloroform extract and sapogenin also had significant expectorant effect, while crude alkaloids and saponins had no obvious expectorant effect. It has been reported that the water decoction of Phytolacca sinensis can enhance the cilia movement in the trachea of rabbits, so its expectorant mechanism is the result of directly stimulating the respiratory mucosa, increasing glandular secretion, diluting sputum and promoting cilia movement. In addition, this product can also cause peripheral blood vessels to contract, reduce vascular permeability, and reduce inflammation, which is also related to the expectorant effect. b. Antitussive effect: The ammonia spray-induced cough test in mice proved that the crude alkaloids of Phytolacca japonica had a significant antitussive effect when taken orally. Oral infusion, tincture and decoction of Phytolacca japonica had no antitussive effect in mice, but subcutaneous injection of tincture and decoction had a mild antitussive effect. Chloroform extract and saponin had no significant effect when given to mice by gavage. c. Antiasthmatic effect: Histamine spray-induced asthma method proved that: subcutaneous injection of Phytolacca japonica decoction or tincture 5g/kg to guinea pigs had no antiasthmatic effect, but only 8g/kg had a certain antiasthmatic effect. 2. In vitro experiments have shown that the decoction and tincture of Phytolacca americana have a certain inhibitory effect on influenza bacillus and pneumococcus; the antibacterial effect on Shigella dysenteriae and Shigella sonnei is stronger, and Shigella dysenteriae is moderately sensitive to the decoction of Phytolacca americana. The decoction is better than the tincture. The water decoction of Phytolacca americana with a concentration of 1:4 also has an inhibitory effect on skin fungi such as Trichophyton solani and Microspore Trichophyton audouin in vitro. The antiviral protein isolated from Phytolacca americana has an inhibitory effect on tobacco leaf virus; two antiviral proteins isolated from Phytolacca americana can control the synthesis of eukaryotic cells and the infection of tobacco mosaic virus. 3. Diuretic effect: The root extract of this product can increase urine volume by infusing toad kidney or directly dripping into frog kidney. Its mechanism of action may be to stimulate the vasomotor center, dilate capillaries, increase blood flow, and accelerate kidney blood circulation. The diuretic effect of potassium salt and ash contained in Phytolacca sinensis is different from this, so the diuretic effect is not due to the potassium salt it contains, but potassium salt also plays some additional role. 4. Anti-inflammatory effect: Triterpenic acid extracted from Phytolacca americana has anti-inflammatory effect, and its anti-inflammatory effect on rat foot swelling is similar to that of hydrocortisone. Studies have shown that Phytolacca americana saponin A 5-10 mg/kg can significantly inhibit rat cotton ball granuloma and carrageenan-induced foot swelling. Phytolacca americana saponin A can play an anti-inflammatory role by inhibiting the production of platelet activating factor (PAF). Phytolacca americana can reduce capillary permeability and reduce bronchial mucosal swelling. Studies have shown that: Phytolacca ethanol extract has no corticosteroid-like effects, and its effects are different from those of corticotropin, mainly stimulating the pituitary-adrenal cortex system by affecting the brainstem. Giving Phytolacca ethanol extract to rats once or several times can significantly inhibit formaldehyde-induced foot swelling, and this effect disappears after removing the adrenal glands on both sides. This product can also cause thymus atrophy in young rats and mice, and a single gavage can significantly reduce the content of vitamin C in the adrenal glands of rats, but it does not prolong the survival time of adrenalectomized young mice. Prednisolone can completely block the effect of Phytolacca ethanol extract on reducing the content of vitamin C in the adrenal glands of rats, but it cannot block the corticotropin-like effects under the same conditions. 5. Other effects: The water extract of Phytolacca can kill Culex pipiens larvae. The 100% concentration of Phytolacca decoction has a certain anti-radiation effect. Its acidic steroidal saponin components have a spermicidal effect in test tubes. Clinically, it has been proven that this product has the effect of lowering transaminase. |
