Black-bone chicken is rich in nutrition, tender in meat, and has high edible and medicinal value. Black-bone chicken is rich in melanin, protein, fat, multiple vitamins and 18 trace elements.

The serum protein and y-protein content of black-bone chicken are higher than those of ordinary chickens. 100 grams of black-bone chicken contains 31.5 grams of amino acids, which is 25% higher than that of ordinary chickens.
