Oyster Porridge

5g cooking oil, a little sesame oil, a little pepper, 0.25 tsp salt, 0.25 tsp MSG, 150g rice, 225g oysters, 75g lean pork, a little celery, 1 shallot, 1 coriander, some starch

Nutritional analysis of oyster porridge

Oysters are salty and astringent, and slightly cold in nature; they enter the liver, heart, and kidney meridians; they are heavy and calming, and can disperse or collect;

It has the effects of calming the liver and suppressing yang, calming the nerves and tranquilizing the mind, softening and dispersing lumps, and astringing and consolidating.

It is mainly used to treat vertigo, tinnitus, tremor of hands and feet, palpitations, insomnia, irritability, epilepsy, scrofula, goiter, breast lumps, spontaneous sweating, night sweats, spermatorrhea, frequent urination, metrorrhagia, leukorrhea, acid regurgitation, stomach pain, eczema and sores.

How to make oyster porridge

1. Wash and drain the oysters, coat them with starch one by one, blanch them in boiling water, then take them out and rinse them with cold water for later use; wash the rice and mix it with a little oil; wash and chop the celery and coriander; wash and cut the chives into flowers;

2. Wash and chop the lean pork, mix with a little starch, blanch it in boiling water and set aside;

3. Put rice into the porridge pot, add water and bring to a boil, then simmer and cook over low heat while stirring. After 10 minutes, add minced pork and bring to a boil. Add the remaining seasonings and mix well. Add oysters and chopped celery. When it boils again, pour into a bowl and top with chopped green onions and coriander.

Soft, tender and delicious, with a unique flavor. Do not add too much starch to the minced pork, otherwise it will affect the taste.
