How to preserve salted sea cucumbers? Preservation techniques for salted sea cucumbers

Salted sea cucumber is a processed product of sea cucumber. It is a dried product obtained by salting and dehydrating fresh sea cucumber. It retains most of the nutrients in sea cucumber. People can nourish their bodies and prevent diseases after eating it. But how should this kind of salted sea cucumber be preserved? If you want to know more, you can read my detailed introduction to the preservation method of salted sea cucumber below.

How to save

1. If you buy commercially available salted sea cucumbers and do not want to store them directly without eating them, you can put them directly in a cool, ventilated and dry environment. There is a layer of salt on its surface, which can prevent bacteria from entering, and it will not deteriorate for a long time. In addition, you can also store the salted sea cucumbers in the refrigerator.

2. After buying the salted sea cucumbers, you need to soak them in advance if you want to eat them. If you can't finish eating the salted sea cucumbers after soaking, preservation becomes a big problem. Soaking them directly in clean water can only ensure that they will not deteriorate for three days, and putting them in the refrigerator can only be preserved for seven to ten days.

3. If you do not eat the salted sea cucumbers for a long time after soaking, you can wrap them in plastic wrap, remove the moisture and store them directly in the freezer of the refrigerator. This way, they can be kept for a long time without deterioration, and when you want to eat them, you can take them out and thaw them without soaking them in advance.

Brewing method

Salted sea cucumber is a kind of dried food that must be soaked in advance before consumption. When soaking, put it in an oil-free pot, add clean water and bring to a boil, then simmer for 40 minutes. After it cools down, take out the sea cucumber, cut it open, remove the intestines and sand spout, wash it clean, and put it in a clean container. Add ice cubes, put it in clean water after five minutes and refrigerate it in the refrigerator. After three days, the salted sea cucumber will be ready.
