1. Sprouting

Normally when you grow Dendrobium candidum, you can divide it before planting. When dividing, you should choose healthy plants that are more than three years old, and have three to four leaves and three branches about five centimeters in length. Cut it off and disinfect it with potassium permanganate, then clean it, and finally plant it in the prepared nutrient soil.

2. Prepare the substrate

When planting Dendrobium candidum, you need to prepare a suitable substrate for it. When this plant grows in nature, it mainly grows on the trunks of trees in deep mountains and forests. Therefore, when cultivating this plant, you must prepare a substrate made of bark for it. After the substrate is prepared, it must be softened with water, and then holes must be punched on its surface before it can be placed in a flowerpot.

3. Planting method

When planting the Dendrobium, you need to insert its roots directly into the small holes made in the bark and fix it, then cover it with fresh moss, then water it well, and place it in a cool environment to slow down the growth. It can only be moved after it grows new roots, and in an environment with sufficient scattered light. After the Dendrobium has just been planted, you can give it some rooting solvent, which can promote the growth of new roots.

4. Daily management

Daily management is also particularly important when cultivating Dendrobium candidum. This plant is an ornamental plant that likes semi-shaded and humid environment.
