Nutritional value of dried freshwater shrimp

1. The nutritional value of freshwater shrimp is very high. Taking the protein content as an indicator of nutritional value, every 100 grams of freshwater shrimp contains 39.3 grams, which is much higher than aquatic products such as large yellow croaker, yellow croaker, prawn, hairtail, pomfret, and meat products such as beef, pork, and chicken.

2. Another major feature of freshwater shrimp is the rich number and variety of minerals. In addition to iodine, which is lacking in terrestrial and freshwater organisms, it is also rich in iron, calcium and phosphorus. The calcium and phosphorus contents of 100 grams of freshwater shrimp are 991 mg and 582 mg, respectively. Therefore, freshwater shrimp is known as a "calcium storehouse".

3. Freshwater shrimp actually contains another important nutrient - astaxanthin, which is the strongest antioxidant discovered so far.

4. Freshwater shrimps are also rich in calcium.
