Material

When making passion fruit peel wine, you need to prepare three kilograms of fresh passion fruit, two kilograms of rock sugar and a large glass bottle.

Steps to soak passion fruit peel in wine

1. Wash the prepared fresh passion fruit with clean water, and then use a fruit knife to scrape off all the hard skin on the surface. The passion fruit will turn light red. Wash them with clean water again, remove the moisture and set aside.

2. After peeling and washing the passion fruit, cut it in half with a knife, then use a small spoon to take out all the flesh inside, put it into a clean glass bottle, and then use a small spoon to remove the inner membrane of the passion fruit peel. Be sure to clean it up, otherwise it will affect the taste of the fruit wine.

3. Cut the processed passion fruit peel into pieces and put them into the prepared clean glass bottle. Add a layer of passion fruit peel and rock sugar repeatedly. Finally, put rock sugar on the top layer. Seal the mouth of the glass bottle with plastic wrap and then cover it with a lid.

4. Put the glass bottle containing passion fruit peel in a warm environment. After 30 to 45 days of natural fermentation, the fruit wine inside will be fermented. After opening the lid, you can take out the filtered liquid, which is the homemade passion fruit peel wine. At this time, you can put the obtained fruit wine into a glass bottle and store it for a period of time. After three months, the passion fruit peel wine will taste the best.

5. When you use passion fruit peel to make wine at home, you must avoid getting raw water or grease in the wine during the whole process, otherwise the wine will easily deteriorate.
