1. Pest control of red guava

During the growth period of Red Guava, various pests such as aphids and yellow thorn moths often occur. After these pests occur, you can spread out the spraying of pesticides. You can dilute omethoate and then spray it. Most pests can disappear after people use the pesticide once or twice.

2. Prevention and treatment of red heart guava ulcer

Ulcers often occur in red heart guava during its growth period. The most obvious symptom after it occurs is wounds and rot on the leaves and stems of the red heart guava. The best prevention and control method at this time is to apply Bordeaux pulp to the wounds. Bordeaux pulp can be prepared by yourself. It requires a mixture of one part of copper sulfate, two parts of chlorpyrifos and three parts of cow dung.

3. Prevention and control of red heart guava diseases

Anthracnose, scorch rot and sooty mold are the most common diseases of red guava. When they occur, you can spray them with drugs such as mancozeb, thiophanate-methyl and chlorothalonil. The drugs should be used once every week. Three to five times in a row can significantly alleviate the disease. In addition, nematode disease is also a common disease of red guava. However, there is no good treatment for this disease after it occurs. The only way is to remove the diseased plants and burn them to avoid affecting other plants.
