When pickling guava at home, you need to prepare 600 grams of fresh guava, a spoonful of salt, three spoonfuls of sugar, an appropriate amount of licorice powder, and then prepare a clean container.

Steps to pickle guava

1. Wash the fresh guava with clean water, then remove the stalks at the head and tail, put it in a bowl, add table salt, mix well and marinate. The marinating time should not be less than one hour. During the marinating process, you should constantly turn the guava in the bowl back and forth to ensure that every part of the guava is evenly marinated.

2. During the process of pickling guava, mix the white sugar and licorice powder together. After the guava is pickled, apply the white sugar and licorice powder on the surface of the guava to pickle. After applying, place the guava in a clean container and seal it.

3. Put the container with guava into the refrigerator for marinating. After four or five hours, the guava inside will be flavored and the homemade guava will be ready. You can take it out and eat it when you want to eat it, or you can cut it into small pieces and eat it with toothpicks. It is crispy, tender and refreshing, and especially delicious.
