What can't be eaten with lychees?

Lychee is also called Danli, Huoshanli, etc. It is known as the "Four Major Fruits of the South" along with banana, pineapple and longan. Lychee is native to southern China and is a subtropical fruit tree, an evergreen tree about 10 meters tall. Lychee is hot in nature, eating too much can easily cause internal heat and can cause "lychee disease". In addition to being eaten, lychee fruit can also be used as medicine with multiple effects. Foods always have their own incompatibilities. What foods should not be eaten with lychee?

What can't be eaten with lychees?

1. Lychees should not be eaten with cucumbers. Lychees are rich in vitamin C, and cucumbers contain vitamin C-degrading enzymes. If they are eaten at the same time, the vitamin C in the lychees will be destroyed and lose its original value.

2. Lychees should not be eaten with carrots. Carrots contain a substance called vitamin C enzyme, which can destroy the total vitamin C in lychees and reduce its original value.

3. It is not suitable to eat lychees with animal offal. Animal livers are rich in copper, iron and other ions, which can oxidize the vitamin C in lychees, thus reducing the nutritional value of both.

4. Patients with mouth ulcers should not eat lychees. Lychees are warm in nature and eating too much can easily cause internal heat. Patients with mouth ulcers, including oral ulcers, oral erosions, swollen and painful gums, etc., should not eat too much lychees.

5. Fresh lychees have a high sugar content. Eating them on an empty stomach will irritate the gastric mucosa, causing stomach pain and bloating. Eating too much on an empty stomach will cause "hyperosmotic coma" due to the sudden addition of excessive high sugar into the body.
