Nutritional value of tangerines

According to laboratory analysis, seedless mandarin oranges contain 9.3% sugar, 0.6% citric acid, and 28.9 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of orange juice. Especially kumquats, 100 g of kumquat peel contains 200 mg of vitamin C, which is 5 times the content of the pulp. In addition, citrus also contains carotene, multiple vitamins, and nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, and iron. The peel of citrus contains hesperidin, B-sitosterol, and a variety of aldehydes, alkenes, and alcohols.

Citrus fruits are rich in beta-carotene, which has a certain effect on infants suffering from night blindness, skin keratinization and developmental delay. It is beneficial to the growth and development of children and can improve immunity.

Citrus fruits contain more vitamin C, which can prevent and treat scurvy.

Foreign scientists have discovered unique ingredients in citrus fruits: p-cryptoxanthin, mesona glycosides and "olaputa", which have excellent anti-cancer effects.
