How to grow jade dew? Cultivation methods and precautions of jade dew

Jade dew is also called ice lantern jade dew. It is a beautiful succulent plant that can be made into potted plants and grown indoors. It is petite, cute and very beautiful. But if you want to grow jade dew well, you must have a comprehensive understanding of its cultivation methods and know what to pay attention to during its cultivation.

How to grow jade dew? How to grow jade dew

1. The jade plant should be grown in a semi-shaded environment. It likes a cool, ventilated and cool environment. During its growth process, it cannot be exposed to direct sunlight, otherwise its leaves will lose moisture and its ornamental value will decrease.

2. Jade plant is suitable for cultivation in a relatively dry environment. During normal cultivation, you must abide by the principle of not watering unless the soil is dry, and watering thoroughly when watering. You must reasonably control the scale of watering and never allow water to accumulate in the pot, because jade plant itself has a strong water storage capacity. If the pot accumulates water, it will affect its normal growth.

Precautions for cultivating jade dew

1. When growing jade plant, you must pay attention to maintaining the environmental humidity. Only good humidity can make its petals look good. If the surrounding environment is particularly dry, its petals will shrink and reduce its ornamental value. At this time, the best way to deal with it is to spray water directly on the leaves of jade plant, or you can use a plant light to illuminate it, and open it every day to allow it to breathe moderately.

2. When growing jade plant, be sure to change the pot in time, because the plant will secrete an acidic component from the bottom during its growth process. These acidic components will corrode the soil and cause a large amount of nutrients needed by the jade plant to be lost. Therefore, new potting soil should be replaced every year. The time for repotting can be chosen in spring or autumn every year. After repotting, place it in a cool environment for seven to ten days to allow the seedlings to grow slowly.

3. When growing jade plant, be careful not to over-fertilize. This plant does not require much fertilizer during its growth period. It only needs to be top-dressed once in spring and autumn each year. After fertilizing, you must water it sufficiently. You can also add some ferrous sulfate during its normal growth period. This will ensure its normal growth and make its leaves thick, juicy and particularly beautiful.
