Cultivation methods and precautions of hydroponic green radish

Green ivy is the most common and popular green foliage plant in life. In addition to being grown in pots, it can also be cultivated in water. However, some people do not know how to grow green ivy in water and do not know how to grow it well in water. Today I will write down all the methods and precautions for growing green ivy in water, and you will understand after reading it.

How to grow green radish hydroponically

1. When hydroponically cultivating green radish, be sure to choose a transparent glass pot, and the depth of the pot should be more than 15 centimeters. Then prepare the green radish with aerial roots. After preparation, trim the roots of the green radish, remove the old roots and necrotic parts, and leave its roots about one centimeter.

2. When hydroponically cultivating green radish, be sure to choose clean and unpolluted tap water. The tap water cannot be used directly after it comes out of the water pipe. It should be placed in a pot to dry for one to two days. After it is dried, it can be poured into the flowerpot, and then the green radish is placed in it. In about ten days, the green radish will grow new roots and new leaves will appear on its top.

Precautions for hydroponic green radish

1. When hydroponically cultivating green radish, you must pay attention to changing the water in time, because at the beginning of hydroponics, the roots of green radish cannot adapt to the water environment, and it will release a large amount of mucus. If you do not replace the water in time, the water quality will be affected. This is because the green radish cannot absorb rich nutrients, its growth will slow down, and in severe cases, it will die.

2. When growing green radish in water, it should be exposed to moderate light. This is also what people should pay most attention to. Although green radish is a shade-loving plant, if it is placed in a cool environment for a long time, its leaves will turn yellow and its growth will slow down. During the hydroponic period, it can be placed in an environment with sufficient scattered light, which will allow it to absorb sufficient light, making its leaves dark green and growing particularly vigorously.
