Pansy pictures

Pansy is a beautiful ornamental plant with a relatively long flowering period and unique flower colors. One flower has three different colors, and they are evenly distributed on the five petals, forming a beautiful pattern. From a distance, it looks like a fluttering butterfly. People in many areas also call it butterfly flower.

How to grow pansy

1. Culture soil

When growing pansies, you must choose suitable cultivation land. It is best to use aquatic plants or mosses and other materials to make potting soil, and add decomposed cake fertilizer into the potting soil as base fertilizer, so that the pansies can absorb more abundant nutrients after planting.

2. Temperature

Pansy is a plant that likes high temperature and high humidity. The temperature of this plant should be above 15 degrees during cultivation, and the ambient temperature should be kept between 20 and 30 degrees during the growing season. However, when the temperature is too high in summer, it must be cooled down in time, and ventilation and watering of its leaves must be carried out in time, otherwise its leaves will turn yellow and it will have an adverse effect on the flowering period.

3. Watering and lighting

Pansy likes a humid environment during its growth process. It can be watered every three days. However, it is necessary to control the watering after the flowering period, otherwise its flowering period will be shortened. Pansy is a wild plant that grows in the primeval forest. It does not require much light, but if it is not exposed to sunlight for a long time, it will also affect its flowering period. Only moderate light during the cultivation period can make its flowers colorful and lasting.
