The efficacy and effects of stone mushrooms

1. Inhibit the increase of gastric acid caused by histamine

The extract of stone mushroom and stone ear has a 100% cure rate for chronic acetic acid gastric ulcer within 12 days, and also has a certain inhibitory effect on the increase of gastric acid caused by histamine.

2. Blood pressure reduction

The ethanol extract of Echinops edodes has a significant hypotensive effect whether it is injected intravenously into anesthetized animals or injected orally or intraperitoneally into normal animals without anesthesia.

3. Anti-cancer

How to make stone mushrooms

Chicken stew with mushrooms

[Ingredients]: 1 clean hen (about 1000 grams), 50 grams of stone mushrooms, 15 grams of shallots, 15 grams of ginger, 5 grams of ham bones, 5 grams of refined salt, 15 grams of Shaoxing wine, and 25 grams of cooked lard.

[Preparation]: 1. Soak the stone mushroom in warm water, rub and wash it repeatedly, then soak it in cold water for five or six times, wash off the black water and fine sand, then cut it into elephant eye slices and put it in a pot, add 500 grams of cold water, 0.5 grams of salt, 5 grams of Shaoxing wine, 5 grams of scallion and ginger each (the ginger is crushed), bring to a boil over medium heat, remove from the pot and serve in a bowl (the water, scallion and ginger used to cook the stone mushrooms are not used); put the chicken in the pot, add water and bring to a boil, then remove from the pot and let it cool.

2. Prepare a casserole, put the chicken, ham bones and the remaining scallions, ginger and Shaoxing wine into the casserole, add water to cover them, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat. When the chicken is 80% cooked, remove the ham bones, pick out the scallions and ginger, pour the stone mushrooms into the casserole, add fine salt and simmer until they are soft and tender.

2. Chop the ribs into small pieces and blanch them in water to remove the blood. This way the soup will not be so greasy.

4. Put the ribs and stone mushrooms into the pot together, turn to low heat after the water boils and simmer for about an hour. Finally, add some salt to season.
