How to grow golden ivy

1. Choose the right soil

When growing golden ivy, you must choose the right soil for it, especially for smart potting. When growing it indoors, you must choose loose, fertile, and breathable potting soil, and add some farmyard manure as base fertilizer before potting.

2. Breeding environment

The choice of breeding environment is also very important for the cultivation of golden ivy. This plant likes light and is shade-tolerant, but afraid of strong light. It can be placed in an environment with sufficient scattered light. After entering summer, it must not be placed in direct strong light, otherwise its leaves will be burned. Golden ivy also has certain requirements for the ambient temperature during the cultivation process. It will only grow vigorously when the external temperature is between 20 and 25 degrees.

3. Watering method

If you want to grow golden ivy well, you must master the watering method. It has strong drought resistance. It can be watered moderately during the growing season, once every 5 to 7 days, and the watering time should be chosen every evening. After entering winter, when the golden ivy stops growing, you should reduce the number of waterings and water it once every 20 days.

4. Fertilization method

Golden ivy does not require much fertilizer during its growth. Do not over-fertilize it when growing it at home, otherwise its roots will rot, and in severe cases, it will die directly. Under normal circumstances, golden ivy can be fertilized once every 20 days during its peak growth season. The fertilizer can be diluted cake fertilizer water, and water should be poured in time after fertilization.
