Cultivation methods and pest control of Paris polyphylla

Cultivation methods and pest control of Paris polyphylla

Paris polyphylla, also known as Paris polyphylla, is a traditional Chinese medicinal material and a common ornamental plant. It can be made into potted plants and grown at home, or it can be grown on a large scale in the fields. The cultivation method is not complicated. I will tell you in detail later. At the same time, I will also let you understand how to prevent and control diseases and pests during the cultivation period of Paris polyphylla.

Farming methods

1. Breeding environment

The Tonglu plant is suitable for cultivation in a warm, humid and well-ventilated environment. It likes fertile sandy soil without high humus content and is difficult to survive in soil or clay.

2. Moisture and temperature

When cultivating the Chinese medicinal plant Paris polyphylla, you must pay attention to the regulation of water and temperature. This plant likes sufficient water during its growth period, but it is afraid of water accumulation. You must water it thoroughly during normal watering, but you cannot allow water to accumulate in the flowerpot, otherwise the roots of the plant will rot. In addition, you must pay attention to the regulation of temperature when cultivating Paris polyphylla. It is relatively cold-resistant and not resistant to high temperatures. You can usually place it in a warm environment of about 25 degrees. In winter, it cannot be placed in an environment below zero degrees, otherwise it will be injured by low temperatures.

Pest control

1. Damping-off disease

Damping-off disease is a common disease during the growth period of Paris polyphylla. This disease often occurs in its seedling stage, especially when it is cloudy and rainy. A large number of yellow-brown spots will appear on the leaves of Paris polyphylla and spread to the surrounding areas. In severe cases, the Paris polyphylla seedlings will die. At this time, it is necessary to drain and dehumidify in time to reduce the humidity of the air, and spray 5% fungicide and water cleaner.

2. Black spot

Black spot disease is also a common disease during the cultivation of Paris polyphylla. After the disease occurs, round, black spots will appear on the shoulders and bases of the Paris polyphylla leaves. In severe cases, leaf or stem blight may occur. After the disease occurs, in addition to reducing air humidity, methyl thiophanate suspension should be sprayed. The drug should be applied again every three days to control the spread of the disease.
