Clove spice cultivation method

1. Soil for growing cloves

To grow clove spices, that is, lilac flowers, it is suitable to choose loose and well-drained sunny soil. You can usually plant them in the spring. You can choose 2-3 year old seedlings and plant them directly in holes with a diameter of 70 to 80 cm and a depth of 50 to 60 cm. Water them sufficiently before planting.

2. Moisture conditions for growing cloves

To grow lilac, you need to water it sufficiently after planting, and water it every ten days during its growth period. Loosen the soil in time after each watering. In addition, April to June each year is the peak growth season for lilac. During this period, water it 2 to 3 times a month. After entering the rainy season, pay attention to waterlogging prevention, and water it sufficiently in winter.

3. Fertilizer supply for growing lilac

When cultivating a spice like lilac, you should also pay attention to the supply of fertilizer. Lilac does not require high fertilizer requirements, and fertilizing once a month is enough. However, during the peak flowering season of lilac, you should not apply excessive fertilizer, otherwise it will affect the formation of flower buds, which will directly affect the yield of clove spices. After it blooms, you can add some phosphorus fertilizer or potassium fertilizer in time, which is very beneficial to the growth of the plant.
