Many people who like to grow flowers want to grow it at home. But how should hibiscus be grown? Today I will introduce the specific methods of growing hibiscus, and also tell you what to pay attention to when growing hibiscus. Friends who like hibiscus can focus on understanding it.

Hibiscus cultivation methods and precautions

1. Hibiscus should be repotted in time

When growing hibiscus, you should change the pot in time, preferably once a year. The time for changing the pot should be in April and May every year. When changing the pot, you should choose loose and fertile sandy soil, remove its excess roots, and apply enough base fertilizer in the potting soil.

2. Pruning of Hibiscus

If you want to grow hibiscus well, pruning is also very important. Every spring in March and April, you can do necessary pruning. You can leave two or three buds at the base of each branch and cut off all the buds above. This will promote the regeneration of new branches and make its growth more vigorous. However, for a period of time after pruning, the supply of water and fertilizer should be properly controlled.

3. Management of Fuso

If you want to grow hibiscus well, daily management is also very important. Around May, hibiscus should be moved outdoors and placed in a sunny environment. At this time, the supply of fertilizer and water should be strengthened in time, and management work such as loosening the soil and weeding should be carried out. In addition, topdressing should be done every seven to ten days. It is best to choose a thin liquid fertilizer that is easy to absorb. Pay special attention to watering hibiscus at ordinary times. Do not let the pot soil be too dry or wet, otherwise it will affect the flowering period of hibiscus and reduce its ornamental value.
