Blue lotus planting method steps

1. Blue Lotus Planting Method Steps

First: Choose a pot first, then add some nutrient soil to the pot with garden soil. Before using the potting soil, you can heat it in a microwave to kill the insects inside, so that it will be easier to take care of later.

Second: After preparing the soil, spread a layer of bone meal as fertilizer, or sprinkle some slow-release fertilizer on it instead. After placing the blue lotus, spread some soil on it.

Third: The blue lotus can be inserted into the soil at a 15-degree angle, so that the bud end will eventually appear in the center of the pot, leaving more space for subsequent root growth.

Fourth: After placing the blue lotus, you can spread some gravel or expanded clay on it to increase the beauty while improving the oxygen content of the entire potting soil.

2. Planting and management of blue lotus - watering

Blue lotus is a water-loving plant, so you need to add enough water every time. You can add water all the way to the petiole, otherwise the leaves will wither and die because they cannot touch the water surface. So you need to fill the water tank. Blue lotus needs to change water every once in a while. If you find that the water surface is polluted or has a strange smell, you need to change the water immediately to avoid affecting the growth of the entire blue lotus.
