How to grow gardenia

1. Gardenias need to be cultivated well. Only when they bloom can the appreciation value of gardenias be realized. Is the gardenia planted well? This has a lot to do with the soil. The soil should be acidic humus soil, and some sturdy seedlings should be selected, so that the gardenias planted will be stronger.

2. Gardenia can tolerate a short temperature of -3℃. If the temperature drops below -5℃, it will suffer frost damage. The leaves will turn black and fall off, and some young branches will be frozen to death. Therefore, it is better to keep the indoor temperature at 6-10℃ in winter.

3. Gardenia is a plant that likes sunlight. In spring and autumn, it needs enough sunshine for 8 hours a day, otherwise it will be bad for growth. But in summer, it cannot be exposed to the sun, otherwise the leaves will turn yellow.

4. Gardenia is a plant that doesn’t like fertilizer very much. You can apply a little fertilizer every 10 days or so. It likes water, but you don’t need to water it before fertilizing.
