The method of pickling dried papaya shreds is very simple. You can prepare two to three fresh green papayas, cut it in the middle, remove the pulp and seeds, and then cut it into thin shreds. Soak it in clean water for half an hour, take it out and remove the water, add edible salt to pickle it. After one day, pour out the pickled water, and then put the pickled papaya shreds in the sun to dry. After they are completely dehydrated, they can be stored.

How to eat dried papaya shreds

1. Garlic-flavored dried papaya shreds

After making the dried papaya shreds, you can take them out in advance when you want to eat them, soak them in clean water for three to five hours, then take them out and wash them with clean water, then drain the water, cut a carrot into shreds, peel the garlic and make garlic paste and put it into the dried papaya shreds, add vinegar, chili oil and chicken essence and mix well before eating.

2. Spicy shredded papaya

After the dried papaya shreds are made, they can also be made into spicy papaya shreds for consumption. When you want to eat it, you can prepare an appropriate amount of red peppers and then an appropriate amount of dried papaya shreds. Soak them in advance, heat oil in the pot, add the peppers and stir-fry until fragrant, then add the dried papaya shreds into the pot, stir-fry quickly, add salt and a small amount of balsamic vinegar to season, and after mixing well, take out and serve on a plate.

3. Pickled papaya shreds

After drying, papaya shreds can also be made into pickled papaya shreds for people to eat. Before pickling, you can soak the dried papaya shreds in clean water, squeeze out the water with your hands after they are softened, then put them in a clean container, add soy sauce, garlic and an appropriate amount of millet pepper, mix well and marinate. It will be flavorful after three to five days. After it is flavored, just add an appropriate amount of sesame oil to enhance the flavor when taking it out and eating.
