How to cultivate dripping Guanyin

How to cultivate dripping Guanyin

The weeping angel is also known as the calla lily. It is named because its flowers resemble Guanyin. It is a common indoor plant and has obvious effects on dust removal. However, because the juice of the leaves of the weeping angel is poisonous if ingested, it is not suitable for homes with children to grow the weeping angel. Let me introduce to you the cultivation method of the weeping angel.

How to cultivate dripping Guanyin

1. Temperature. The Weeping Goddess of Mercy prefers a warm, humid, semi-shady environment. The most suitable temperature is between 20 and 25 degrees. It stops growing when the temperature is below 18 degrees. In summer, you need to spray water on the leaves several times to maintain air humidity and avoid excessive temperatures. The Weeping Goddess of Mercy is not very cold-resistant and needs to be moved indoors in autumn and winter.

2. Fertilization. The fertilization cycle of the weeping angel is once a month, and topdressing must be done every 2 weeks. You can apply some nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers. If you don't fertilize for a long time, it will cause the lower end of the plant stem to be bald, the leaves to turn yellow, or the leaves to become smaller.

3. Light. The weeping angel is a shade-loving plant, but it also needs a moderate amount of light. The light should not be too strong, otherwise the plant will wilt easily. So it is enough to ensure about 3 hours of light every day. If the environment is too shady, the leaves will become thinner.

4. Watering. The weeping angel plant has a greater demand for water in summer. Spraying water on the leaves at noon every day can increase the air humidity and is beneficial to the growth of the plant.
