1. Ingredients for pickling spicy cabbage

Prepare 2 heads of Chinese cabbages, 2 apples, 2 pears, 1 radish, leeks, onions, and a little garlic. The seasonings needed include ginger, chili powder, dried shrimps, sugar, glutinous rice flour, salt, MSG and sesame seeds.

2. How to pickle spicy cabbage

Step 1: Wash the cabbage, cut it off from the roots, and break the cabbage apart from the top.

Step 2: Add cold water to a basin, add about 200 grams of salt, and put four cloves of cabbage into the salt water one by one.

Step 3: Press the cabbage in the water, take it out and squeeze out some water.

Step 4: Remove each cabbage leaf and sprinkle salt between the leaves for later use.

Step 5: Peel and cut the white radish into shreds for later use.

Step 6: The cabbage will release water and become soft when pickled in salt. After the cabbage becomes soft, you can rinse off the salt water with clean water.

Step 7: Dice the apples and pears, blend them in a blender to make fruit puree, and chop the ginger and sour.

Step 8: Mix the fruit puree with chili powder, garlic and ginger, then add sugar, salt and sesame seeds to make a sauce puree.

Step 7: Apply the sauce paste to each layer of the pickled and softened cabbage, put it in a clean container, seal it and put it in the refrigerator. It can be eaten after 1 to 2 days.
