In addition, you also need to prepare some ginger powder, peppercorns, white sesame seeds, and light soy sauce as seasonings.

Steps to make pickled radish strips

1. Wash the prepared green radish with clean water, remove the moisture, cut it into thicker strips, and then place it in the sun to dry. Put it away after it is 80% dry.

2. Soak the dried radish peels in boiling water to remove the dust on the surface, then take them out and drain them, put them in a bowl, add salt, pepper, Sichuan pepper powder, sugar and ginger powder, and finally add soy sauce, mix well and marinate. After three days, the radish strips will be tasty and can be taken out and eaten directly. It can also be further processed.

3. Heat the prepared vegetable oil in a pot, then add the white sesame seeds into the pot and fry them until fragrant. Take them out and pour them on the prepared chili powder. After they cool down, put them into the pickled radish strips, mix well and marinate for two or three days. You will get the five-spice pickled radish strips, which tastes especially good.

1. The radish strips must be dried before pickling, but not completely dried. The taste is best when they are 80% dry. If you want to pickle in winter and there is not enough sunlight, you can also put the radish strips on the heater to dry, which takes about three to four hours.

2. After pickling the radish strips, they should be kept in the refrigerator, otherwise they will easily deteriorate. In addition, when eating the radish strips, only oil-free and water-free chopsticks can be used, otherwise it will easily deteriorate after bacteria are introduced.
