Ingredients and preparation of Sanren Soup

Necessary ingredients for Sanren Soup

When making Sanren Soup at home, not many ingredients are needed. You only need 30 grams of sweet almonds, 30 grams of walnut kernels, 30 grams of black sesame seeds, and about 5 grams of white sugar. The white sugar is mainly used for seasoning the soup after it is out of the pot.

Specific steps for making Sanren Soup

1. Wash all the prepared sweet almonds, walnut kernels and black sesame seeds with clean water, and then prepare a casserole.

2. Put an appropriate amount of water into the casserole, bring it to a boil, then put the washed ingredients into the water, continue to boil, and then turn to medium or low heat.

3. Turn down the heat and cook slowly for about half an hour until the sweet almonds, walnut kernels and other ingredients are cooked. At this time, you can add the prepared white sugar into the pot and mix well.

4. Add sugar to the Sanren Soup and cook it slowly over medium-low heat for about five minutes. Then turn off the heat and simmer for a while before serving. The delicious Sanren Soup is not only good for replenishing blood and moistening the intestines, but also has excellent nourishing effects, which is suitable for women's postpartum care.
