Ingredients for borscht

To make borscht at home, you need 500 grams of beef, a piece of beef, a carrot, 100 grams of celery, an onion, two tomatoes, two potatoes, and half a cabbage. In addition, you need to prepare some tomato sauce and a small amount of miscellaneous herbs.

How to make borscht

1. Wash all the ingredients with clean water, then remove the skin and cut into small pieces for later use. Cut the beef and beef bones into small pieces, put water in a pot, bring to a boil, blanch the beef and beef bones and set aside.

2. Add oil to the pan, put the chopped vegetables in the pan and stir-fry. Add the prepared tomato sauce and herbs while stir-frying.

3. Put oil in another pot and stir-fry the beef and beef bones. When they are relatively dry, pour clean water into the soup pot and cook. After boiling, turn to low heat. After cooking for one hour, add the fried vegetables into the beef soup.

4. Then cook slowly over low heat for about two hours, take out the beef bones, and then add salt and black pepper to season. Your homemade borscht is ready to be eaten.
