Ingredients and methods for pan-fried eggplant boxes

Eggplant can actually be fried and eaten, so today I will introduce to you how to make fried eggplant boxes:

1 long eggplant 50g minced meat

Dry starch, some egg white

Spicy soy sauce

Onion and ginger

Garlic and MSG

Fried eggplant box recipe

1. Add salt, cooking wine, soy sauce and MSG to the meat filling for seasoning

2. Add appropriate amount of chopped green onion and ginger and mix well

3. Add appropriate amount of egg white to the meat filling

4. Use chopsticks to stir in one direction until it is strong. This way the meat filling will be more flavorful and tender.

5. Cut the eggplant into thin slices. Do not cut through the eggplant with the first cut, but cut through with the second cut (try to cut it as thin as possible to make it easier to cook and taste)

9. Place the prepared eggplant boxes in the microwave oven, lay them flat without overlapping so that they can be cooked at the same time.

10. Cover the lid and put it in the microwave on medium-high heat for 5 minutes. (If you don’t have a microwave, you can steam it in a pot)

11. The eggplant box is cooked after being baked in the microwave, but there is still a lot of moisture on the surface of the eggplant. In order to make the surface crispy, put it on an electric baking pan or a frying pan and fry it on low heat until both sides are crispy.

12. Next, make a sauce, which is the soul of the delicious eggplant box. Put a little oil in the pan, heat the oil and fry the chopped green onion, ginger and garlic until fragrant.

13. Add chili sauce and soybean sauce and stir fry until fragrant

14. Add a little sugar to enhance the flavor; add a little cold water and boil it.

15. Place the eggplant box on a plate, pour the sauce on it and enjoy.

Tips

1. Choose long eggplants, which are convenient for making eggplant boxes; they are small and cute.

2. When cutting the eggplant into slices, try to cut them thinner so that they are easier to cook and easier to absorb the flavor.

3. After the eggplant is slightly cooked in the microwave, in order to make the surface of the eggplant crispy, fry it in an electric baking pan or frying pan over low heat.

4. The sauce is the soul of the delicious eggplant box. If you don’t like spicy food, you can use less or no hot sauce.
