Common ways to cook cowpea

Cowpea has certain nutritional value, so how do we usually cook cowpea at home? In fact, cowpea is the common beans. Here I will tell you how to cook cowpea:

1. Shredded cowpea

Ingredients

Ingredients: beans, pork filling, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, cooking wine, peanut oil, a few slices of onion and ginger, salt, and chicken essence.

Steps/Methods

1. Add a little dark soy sauce, light soy sauce and cooking wine to the minced meat and marinate for 20 minutes.

2. Wash the beans, cut them in the middle, and blanch them in hot water. (Blanch for about 5 minutes after the water boils, and taste them to make sure there is no raw smell.)

3. Soak in cold water immediately after taking it out.

4. After draining the water, tear the beans into two halves with your hands (my daughter helped me tear them, she said it was easier to tear them from the thinner end than from the thicker end).

5. Heat oil in a pan, add scallion and ginger, sauté until fragrant, add the marinated meat filling, immediately spread it out, and stir-fry evenly (I forgot to take a picture), then serve.

6. Use the remaining oil in the pot, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, add beans and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add the fried meat filling, salt and chicken essence and serve.
