Introduction to Cowpea

The calyx is bell-shaped and glabrous; the corolla is lavender, about 2 cm long, and there are light yellow whiskers on the upper part of the style. The pods are linear, drooping, and can reach 40 cm long. The flowering and fruiting period is from June to September.
