Homemade loquat jam steps

Everyone knows that loquat is a delicious fruit, but can you make delicious homemade loquat jam using loquat as an ingredient? Let me introduce it to you.

Homemade Loquat Jam

Loquat jam is pure natural, handmade, and contains no additives or pigments! ! Make it yourself, guaranteed to be healthy, hehe! !

Ingredients: about 800g loquat, 200g white sugar (rock sugar or anything else will do), 1/2 lemon.

Loquat Jam Method:

1. Rinse the loquats, put them in a deeper container, pour in hot water (about 60 to 70 degrees), and soak for 5 minutes;

2. After soaking the loquat in hot water, you can easily peel off the skin. We peel and core the loquat, take out the pulp, and cut it into small cubes. You can also use a blender to crush it, but I was too lazy to wash it, so I didn't use it;

3. Pour the chopped pulp into a clean pot, add white sugar, stir, and let it stand for an hour.

4. After an hour, we will see that the loquat has a lot of juice. Hehe. This is why we say "don't add a drop of water", because even if you add water, it will still take time and fire to boil the water dry. Basically, I think it is easier to boil the fruit if you cut it into smaller pieces;

5. Start cooking. Remember to stir from time to time to prevent the pot from getting stuck. (If you like a more delicate taste, you can press it with a spoon while cooking)

6. When it becomes thick, squeeze in the lemon juice and continue to cook for seven or eight minutes until it feels thick enough. When it cools naturally to 60 or 70 degrees, put it into a sealable box or jar and put it in the refrigerator after it is completely cooled. When eating, remember to scoop it with a clean, water-free and oil-free spoon.

Absolutely sweet! ! Eat it! ! Loquat is rich in pectin, crude fiber and minerals, and is an effective weight loss fruit. Especially rich in vitamin B, it plays a very important role in protecting eyesight, keeping skin healthy and moisturized, and promoting children's physical development.
