Sow seeds at the right time.

When the temperature remains stable at 10℃ for 5 consecutive days, the seeds can be sown. In some areas, the sowing period for mulching cultivation can be advanced to early April and the seeds can be sown before the Grain Rain solar term.

Field management.

When the seedlings break through the soil, use soil to compact the edges of the mulch around the seedlings to prevent strong winds from tearing up the mulch. Carefully observe after a rainy day. If there is water on the mulch, drain it. Damaged mulch should be compacted or re-covered in time. Water the bean seedlings for the first time when they grow 3 to 4 true leaves. Apply 15 kg of nitrogen and potassium fertilizer per mu with the water. Apply one more topdressing after the pod-setting peak in May, using 20 kg of quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer per mu.

Harvest in time.

Kidney beans grow quickly, and it usually takes about a week from the time the pods bloom to the time they reach harvest standards.

The plastic film spring beans usually enter the harvest period around May Day. At this time, it is the peak season of market demand, the consumption is large, and the price is also high. They can be harvested earlier to obtain higher benefits.
