How to make blueberry yam

Prepare ingredients: one yam (300g), two spoons of condensed milk, 1g of salt, two spoons of blueberry jam, 3g of sugar, two spoons of cold boiled water

Blueberry Yam Production Process:

1. Peel the yam, cut it into thin slices and place it on a plate. Put water in the steamer and bring it to a boil. Put the plate with the yam in it and steam it for about 10-15 minutes. Poke it with chopsticks to see if the yam is fully steamed and then remove from the pot.

2. While it's still hot, use the back of a kitchen knife to crush the yam into a paste. Press it repeatedly several times. Put it in a bowl and use a spoon to crush it into a fine, particle-free yam paste. Add salt and condensed milk (I later added two spoons of egg yolk salad dressing), and mix well with a spoon.

3. Add sugar and water to the blueberry jam and mix it into a sticky paste that can slowly flow down when stirred with a spoon.

4. Put the yam puree into a disposable piping bag equipped with a chrysanthemum nozzle, squeeze it into a small hill shape in a cup or container, pour the prepared blueberry jam evenly on it, and it is ready to eat.

5. It tastes better when chilled!

Tips:

1. The yam used to make blueberry yam should be the kind that is relatively soft. Ask when buying yam. Generally speaking, yam with a softer texture has more burrs on the surface, while yam with a crisper texture has a smoother surface.

2. Yam mucus can cause skin allergies and itching, so it is best to wear disposable gloves when peeling yams. Cut the yam slices thinner so that they can be steamed more thoroughly.

3. You can also add salad dressing or light cream to the yam puree to increase the smoothness and aroma of the yam puree.

4. I personally think that you can use strawberry jam or other jams to make yam puree with different flavors, and the taste should be good.

5. Blueberry yam, you can also pair it with potato chips as a snack for afternoon tea or a party, or as a snack for children. A piece of potato chip, squeeze some yam puree, and then garnish with blueberry sauce.
