Ancient documents such as "Compendium of Materia Medica" and "Supplement to Compendium of Materia Medica" record that sweet potatoes have the effects of "replenishing deficiency, strengthening qi and strength, strengthening spleen and stomach, and strengthening kidney yin", making people "live longer and have fewer diseases", and can also replenish the middle, harmonize blood, warm the stomach, and nourish the five internal organs. "In addition, in the "ranking list" of 20 anti-cancer vegetables recently released by the National Cancer Research Center of Japan, sweet potatoes topped the list.

Storage instructions

You can wrap the sweet potatoes in newspaper and place them in a cool place. They can be stored for about 3 to 4 weeks. If you spread the sweet potatoes on newspapers to dry in the sun before wrapping them, and then wrap them up with newspapers, the sweet potatoes will be sweeter. In addition, unpeeled sweet potatoes should not be refrigerated to avoid excessive moisture.

2. Heat the oil until it is 70% cooked, add the sweet potatoes and fry until they become soft.

3. Pour off the oil and wash the pot. Add 100 grams of water and stir the sugar after the water boils. When the sugar turns yellow, add the sweet potatoes to the pot. When the sweet potatoes are surrounded by sugar, you can pick them up.

Note: Don’t add too much water, otherwise the silk won’t come out.
