Fern root powder is a kind of black vermicelli made from wild mountain plants. It has many health benefits and is the main ingredient in summer cold dishes. Steps to make cold fern root salad

1. Prepare the ingredients: 200g of fern root powder, 150g of natto, 3 red chili peppers, 1 shallot, 30g of soy sauce, 3g of salt, 5g of sesame oil, 50g of rice vinegar, 3g of chili powder, 5g of sugar, some pepper powder, 10g of cooked white sesame seeds, 10g of crushed peanuts, and some cold boiled water.

2. Put water in the pot and bring it to a boil, then put the prepared fern root powder in. Use chopsticks to stir until the fern root powder is all dispersed. Cook for about ten minutes. Take out one and check if there is no hard core in the middle, which means it is cooked.

3. Pour cold boiled water into a basin, then take out the cooked fern root powder and put it in. Do not take it out until the fern root powder is completely cooled, then drain the water.

4. Put all the seasonings in a bowl, mix them with chopsticks to make sauce, then wash the chili peppers. Pour the sauce on the processed fern root powder first, then sprinkle the chili peppers in the middle of the top layer.

5. Take out the natto and stir it with chopsticks until the natto is shredded. Then sprinkle it on the fern root powder. Use chopsticks to mix it evenly when eating.
