How to pickle snow red

Have we eaten mustard greens before? We usually cook mustard greens soup to drink, especially in such hot weather now, almost every meal must have some mustard greens soup to drink in order to eat. The editor is the same. If there is no soup, then I can't eat much. So I wonder if you have ever eaten snow vegetable? Snow vegetable is a variant of mustard greens. The mustard leaves and stems are pickled, which is snow vegetable (also known as snow vegetable), commonly known as spicy vegetable. The leaves are deeply fissured, the edges are wrinkled, and the flowers are bright yellow. The stems and leaves are ordinary vegetables, usually pickled. So today the editor will bring you the pickling method of snow vegetable.

How to pickle snow red

1. Pick the snow lettuce, remove the yellow leaves and wash them clean.

2. Blanch the washed snow mustard greens in boiling water for about one minute, then remove and let cool.

3. Do not pour out the water used to blanch the snow vegetable. Let it cool down and use it when pickling the snow vegetable (the pickled water will taste better than those pickled with plain water).

4. Straighten the cooled mustard greens, pick them up in small bunches, and put them in a container (when I pickle them at home, I tie them up with a mustard green).

5. Place stones or other heavy objects on the mustard greens to press them down.

6. Put the cold blanching water in the container and cover the snow vegetable.

It can be eaten after leaving it for 3 days. Just take out a small handful each time you eat it.

Tips

1. Choose vegetables with thick stems and leaves, freshness, and few yellow leaves.

2. The entire process must be kept oil-free and clean to prevent the growth and reproduction of corrupt bacteria.

3. It is best to use jars and pots made of glass, clay, etc. for pickling, and avoid using iron, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.
