Ingredients for braised yellow croaker: 1/4 bell pepper, a small handful of tender celery, and appropriate amounts of ginger, garlic, and celery.

How to make braised yellow croaker

Part I:

1.2. 1 yellow croaker, about 600g. Cut the fish three times, apply a thin layer of salt, and marinate for 30 minutes;

3. Ingredients: 1/4 bell pepper, a handful of tender celery, ginger and garlic as needed;

4. Dice the bell pepper, cut the celery into 5mm pieces, and chop the ginger and garlic;

5. Heat a little more oil until it is 50% hot, then fry the fish slowly over medium heat until golden brown.

6. After one side is fried, fry the other side. There are two words for frying fish: be patient and don't flip the fish randomly.

1. Push the fried fish on both sides to the edge of the oil, add ginger and garlic and sauté until fragrant;

2. Add 1 spoon of sugar to enhance the flavor;

3. Add 3 tablespoons of first-grade soy sauce;

4. Add water to cover the fish, not too much. Cover the pot, turn to low heat and simmer for about 10 minutes after the water boils;

5. If you like the fish to be dry, turn up the heat to dry out the sauce. I like it to be juicy.

6. Carefully transfer the cooked fish to a plate, leaving the remaining sauce in the pot;

7. Pour in the bell pepper and celery, and cook with the remaining soup until cooked;

8. Add a little bit of salt. As the saying goes: salty fish and light meat.

9. Pour the soup over the fish.
