Material

If you want to make your century egg and lean meat porridge delicious, you must prepare rich ingredients. Not only do you need to prepare 150 grams of rice and two century eggs, you also need to prepare 100 grams of lean pork and an appropriate amount of water and table salt. In addition, you also need to prepare some chicken essence, cooking wine, starch, sesame oil and other seasonings in appropriate amounts.

Steps

1. Wash the prepared rice with clean water in advance, and then soak it in clean water for about an hour. After taking out the soaked rice, put it directly in the steamer and add appropriate amount of clean water. The amount of clean water should be more than when cooking rice at ordinary times.

2. After the rice is put into the pot, turn on the fire to cook the porridge. While cooking the porridge, soak the lean meat in clean water for more than ten minutes, rub it constantly during soaking to absorb all the blood in the lean meat, and then rinse it with clean water. Drain the washed lean meat and cut it into shreds, then add the prepared salt and starch, as well as chicken essence and cooking wine, mix well and marinate for ten to fifteen minutes.

3. Remove the shell of the preserved egg, cut it into small dices with a knife, and put it in a bowl for later use. After the porridge pot boils, turn down the heat and simmer for another 15 minutes. When the porridge soup in the pot becomes thick, stir it a few times with a spoon. Boil the marinated shredded pork in another pot with boiling water, remove the foam, take out the shredded pork and put it directly into the porridge pot.

4. When the porridge is almost cooked, put the shredded pork and preserved egg into the porridge, add a small amount of salt and chicken essence for seasoning, mix well and cook for another three minutes, add sesame oil to enhance the flavor, then turn off the heat and serve. The fragrant preserved egg and lean meat porridge is now ready to be eaten.
