Calculated based on the vitamin C content of 100 grams of fruit, kiwi contains 420 mg, fresh dates contain 380 mg, strawberries contain 80 mg, oranges contain 49 mg, loquats contain 36 mg, and tangerines and persimmons contain 30 mg each. Bananas and peaches contain 10 mg each, grapes, figs, and apples each have only 5 mg, and pears only contain 4 mg.

According to measurements, an adult needs 60 mg of vitamin C per day. If you want to get it from fruits with very little vitamin C, you need 25 figs, 14 pears, and about 1.5 kilograms of grapes. Therefore, eating only one or two fruits with low vitamin C content is not actually helpful. However, if it is kiwi fruit, citrus or persimmon with high vitamin C content, one or two a day is enough. If it is fresh dates or strawberries, only five or six pieces are needed to get the vitamin C required for a day. Therefore, if you want to supplement enough vitamin C, you should be selective when eating fruits.
