Introduction to Qigong Congee

[Source]: Traditional

[Ingredients]: 10g each of processed Pinellia, Poria, Tangerine Peel, Atractylodes, 12g each of Cyperus rotundus and Shenqu, 6g of Ligusticum chuanxiong, and 100g of rice.

〖Preparation〗: Boil the above seven herbs in water, remove the residue, add in rice (wash) and cook into porridge.

[Usage]: Take warm twice a day on an empty stomach.

[Efficacy]: Strengthens the spleen and dries dampness, resolves phlegm and removes fat. Suitable for infertility and obesity caused by phlegm and dampness.

Appendix: Other related dietary therapies

Placenta is called Ziheche, which can nourish qi and blood, benefit kidney and help pregnancy. Dosage: Take fresh placenta from healthy pregnant women, wash away bad blood, steam or stew it and eat it. Placenta contains a variety of hormones, which can promote the development of breast, ovary, uterus and female reproductive organs. It has a therapeutic effect on foetal hypoplasia, uterine atrophy, functional amenorrhea, uterine myositis, uterine bleeding, low milk, and postpartum anterior pituitary function deficiency.

[Indications]: Asthenia, deficiency of qi and blood, bone steaming and emaciation, coughing and vomiting blood, mental confusion, nocturnal emission, male spermatorrhea, female infertility, habitual abortion
